Gotcha Key Right Here Glenn

The mayor of right-wing crackpot Glenn Beck’s home town of Mount Vernon, Wash., says he’ll give Glenn the key to the city this month. Get those overripe tomatoes ready — or so goes the suggestion in my latest HuffPost epic. It’s getting lots of Comment.  In fact, it’s the top-rated HuffPost blog today (Most Comments and Page Views). Sweet.

Update: Glenn’s speaking at Seattle’s Safeco Field that day, too.  Sponsored by some right-wing foundation. Tickets start at — I kid you not — $100. Still, getting in the cheap(er) seats with a few eggs is admittedly tempting.

Prediction: Fox Noise will send along camera crews to show Glenn-Boy getting “mobbed” by Obama-inpired socialists.  And Beck goes into full martrydom mode. (“I was physically attacked by wide-eyed socialists wearing Obama buttons!”)

Beck was probably a lot more fun as a drunk, rather than just a run-of-the-mill dope. Worse than his radical point of view is his daily habit of belaboring the painfully obvious. He puts forth his lame, hackneyed observations as if they are genuine revelations — taking mediocrity to new heights. The wonder of it all is that he has absolutely no idea how dull and clueless he sounds to any well-read person of any political persuasion. He is so BORING. BORING. BORING.

A bad, bad circus act. Just awful. But then again, look at the shut-ins and morons who watch him. This country has no shortage of stupid, ignorant people. There. I said it. And I feel better for having done so — and no remorse. Ask any store owner who deals with the general, moronic public.

I live in Seattle and actual did see the local news report. If you saw it you would of observed the “number” of demonstrators at city hall was 4 or 5 people. Talk about making a mountain over a mole hill. It was embarrassing to watch KOMO actually try and make this into a news story. Now it’s become national—-PATHETIC!! Check your sources first or you look stupid. He is speaking at Safeco field where the Mariners play. I guess everyone in Seattle in not a blind liberal.

I indeed watched the KING newscast, Ric. I’m guessing you didn’t. I counted 10-15 protestors. Facts are so inconvenient to the right.
