One is is hearing a lot about the blue-dog Democrats and Republicans worrying about the cost of the President’s health-care plan.
But top-notch talk host Thom Hartmann makes a good point:

President Obama’s speech this week was lacking one critical element — passion — as Howard Fineman (on MSNBC) and others noted.
The Times’ Paul Krugman started his column thusly:

So the Senate Dems now get to go back to their home states and fund-raise. And get sound bites for future TV commercials that are paid for largely by health-insuarnce companies.
