DC Weasels

Dave Ross, whose witty commentaries are carried nationally on CBS Radio, assembled a bunch of about-to-be-unemployed Seattle P-I staffers the other day on his KIRO Radio show to reminisce about the doomed daily, put to sleep by Hearst a few days later.
The P-I was livelier and racier than the more staid Seattle Times. Explained one veteran P-I reporter:
“In the Times, the woman’s body was found ‘half-clothed.’ In the P-I, it was found ‘half naked.’”
