A funny piece that ran in the National Lampoon has come to mind lately on several occasions and for obvious reasons. It was titled, if I recall correctly, “How to Start a Bank Run.”
I don’t remember much of that list, but I do remember one idea that might be fun to try:
Go into your local bank and proclaim in a loud voice:
“Office furniture? I don’t want any goddam office furniture. GIVE ME MY MONEY!”
Might be fun to try on April Fool’s Day.
