Hmmm… MSNBC loudmouth Chris Matthews — the guy who’d interrupt and talk over the Pope — announces he’s signed a new deal with MSNBC lasting through the 2012 election. Which means he won’t be running for that Pennsylvania U.S. Senate seat held by Arlen “Spooky” Specter after all.
The next day, the spectral-looking Specter gets in touch with his inner weasel — and reverses his earlier vote. He’ll now vote against the pro-union Card Check bill.
Whatta guy! Spooky has clawed his way to the top of this week’s trash heap.
